Now Nirtal is offering a course to physical therapists to help them learn how to innovate and think creatively about solving the problems we all face in clinical practice.

Nirtal is a physical therapist who worked at the University of Toronto's David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic. Nirtal is also involved with teaching and research at the University of Toronto. Nirtal teaches in the Faculty of Kinesiology, the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences all at the University of Toronto. Nirtal has been teaching for the past 10 years and has developed his own course related to digital health and innovation at the University of Toronto. This course build on Nirtal's experience and his work in digital health and his experience in innovative practice.

Nirtal is also the Founder and CEO of Curovate, a health technology company that develops mobile apps for patients following a knee replacement, hip replacement and an anterior cruciate ligament surgery. Nirtal started with an idea for an app which has evolved into a successful company that sells subscription-based apps on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Nirtal has also been providing virtual or video physical therapy for his patients for the past 4 years. Nirtal uses digital health technology to improve patient access, adherence and engagement throughout the rehabilitation process.
