After Your ACL Surgery: ACL Social Support | Curovate
After an ACL injury or surgery social support is crucial to help you recover.
This can be in the form of your mom calling you to ask how you are doing. A close friend checking in on you daily through text massages. A roommate that helps you get around more easily. Or an online community of people who have experienced the same injury and surgery as you have!
It is great to know that others have been through this injury and surgery and that they have recovered and returned to their normal life.
With that in mind we at Curovate have formed an ACL social support group on Facebook!
Also we have a fantastic Instagram page where you can read about people who have had the same surgery, ask questions to our community and our physical therapist, comment on others progress or struggles and share your own story. You may be surprised by how helpful the ACL community online is. Check it out here!
In addition to Curovate's social supports we really love what the ACL Recovery Club is doing through social media. They have a great Instagram and Facebook page to help people through the challenges of ACL recovery.
And finally we strongly recommend our ACL app to help you through the daily struggles of keeping up with your ACL rehabilitation. You can see your progress, measure your knee range of motion and access videos of every exercise you need to do daily!
If you need further customized assistance during your surgery or injury recovery check out our Virtual Physical Therapy page to book your 1-on-1 video session with a physical therapist.
