By working with Curovate each of your employees receives 1-on-1 Video Physical Therapy sessions to address current physical issues, prevent future injuries, increase their overall physical activity, strength and mobility for long term health. In addition, each employee will have direct access to a mobile app for their specific physical therapy exercises. Through our mobile app your employees can directly contact a licensed physical therapist and have their questions answered outside of their 1-on-1 appointments. The video physical therapy sessions, personalized mobile app, in-app chat with a licensed physical therapist and follow-up appointment are all part of the Curovate employee benefits program to keep your employees healthy, active and engaged. As the employer you will receive anonymized statistics about your employees usage, uptake and satisfaction with the Curovate program.
Unlike a large faceless digital health company Curovate prioritizes personalized care for each person. Yes, you will work with the same physical therapist at each of your video physical therapy sessions. You will also have the ability to ask questions between appointments via our in-app chat. Your physical therapy exercises will be always customized for your specific needs and accessible to you. The frequency of your video physical therapy sessions depends on your injury or prevention program and the employee benefits plan. We start with a 60 minute 1-on-1 initial assessment with your physical therapist. Follow-up appointments are typically 30 minutes, and the frequency of follow-ups will be decided following your initial assessment.
Once an employer has signed up with Curovate each employee is asked to complete a simple online intake form that takes about 5 minutes. Once this form is completed it typically takes 24-48 hours before the employee is matched with a physical therapist. Once the employee is matched with the physical therapist they are contacted directly and a mutually agreed upon time is selected for the initial 60-minute physical therapy assessment. This initial assessment allows the physical therapist to understand the employee’s current health status, their physical issues if any and their health and physical activity goals. This allows the employee and the physical therapist to collaborate and work on an actionable plan that is supported through our digital health app. It’s that simple!
